PlayStation has unveiled its latest competitive gaming event, the PlayStation Tournaments: XP, culminating in a highly anticipated live finale scheduled for January 18, 2025, which will be broadcasted directly from London.
The finalists who have excelled in the preceding rounds have earned a coveted spot in the concluding event. They will form teams represented by the iconic PlayStation symbols: Triangle, Square, Circle, and Cross, each spearheaded by a renowned content creator.

The thrilling finale of the PlayStation Tournaments: XP is set to unfold on January 18, from 2 PM to 7 PM GMT (9 AM to 2 PM ET). Fans can enjoy the action live for free on the official PlayStation Twitch and YouTube channels.
A Star-Studded Line-Up
The competition will feature four teams, each commanded by a captain who is a distinguished figure in the realms of gaming and content creation. The Circle team will be led by Arslan Ash, a legendary Tekken player. The Triangle team will be captained by popular football YouTuber SV2, while VikkStar123 from the Sidemen takes charge of the Cross team. Completing the roster is ESPE, known for her presence in the Queens League, leading the Square team.
Moreover, each team will be supported by four game specialists, including well-known players such as AJ3, JulietteArz, Kayane, and Agustin51, who will assist with specific game challenges.
Competition Format and Game Line-Up
Throughout the event, teams will battle in a series of matches across various games, commencing with Astrobot, moving on to EA Sports FC 25, then Tekken 8, subsequently Fortnite, and culminating in an exciting final round.
In addition to the main matches, there will be Free Roam stations featuring challenges from other PlayStation Studio games, allowing fans and participants to engage with additional content.
Once the preliminary rounds conclude, the two leading teams will collide in a showdown to be crowned the inaugural champions of PlayStation Tournaments: XP.
