In the timeline of the Indiana Jones series, the events of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle take place after Raiders of the Lost Ark and before the Last Crusade. It is set in the year 1937, during Indy’s time working at Marshall College. One evening, he stumbles upon a burglary by a character named Locus, whose voice is provided by Tony Todd.

The pursuit of an ancient mystery sets off a globetrotting adventure for the character. Throughout the journey, he travels to various locations such as the snow-capped Himalayas, the pyramids of Egypt, and even the Vatican City. However, Indy must also contend with sinister forces, led by the manipulative Emmerich Voss, who are hot on his trail.

Luckily, the archaeologist is receiving assistance from Gina Lombardi, an investigative journalist who has a personal passion for unraveling the enigma of the Great Circle. While the character in the game has been authorized to use the likeness of Harrison Ford, his voice is being provided by Troy Baker.
