LEGO Fortnite Teases New Animal Feature and Farming in Upcoming Update

According to recent clips from the official LEGO Fortnite X account, players may have the opportunity to keep wild animals and expand their farming capabilities in the upcoming update.

LEGO Fortnite recently posted a brief video on their official Twitter account, offering a sneak peek into what players can anticipate in the upcoming update for the game. The teaser suggests that nearby animals may soon become interested in the player’s village, causing the villagers to contemplate whether they want to reside with the player.

This may imply that players will now have the opportunity to become friends with animals and reside with them in their base, potentially enhancing the farming element of the game.

Currently, it is possible to interact with animals in the game by petting them and receiving something useful in return. However, keeping them inside your base is not an option as they will continue to roam and may even disappear if you move too far away.

If the leaks are accurate, it is probable that new animals, including bears, frogs, beetles, and others, will be introduced in the near future.

In addition, a recent leak from reputable source iFireMonkey revealed the existence of a new consumable item named “Animal Cookies”, which will allow players to tame creatures in-game.

While the information on these leaks has yet to be confirmed, it is important to approach them with skepticism.

Apart from creatures, the LEGO Fortnite X account shared a separate post, which included a clip of a speed build of a stable as another teaser.

The completed construction is situated near crops and a watering trough, suggesting that taking care of any animals residing in your base may be necessary.

The v29.30 update for Fortnite is set to be released on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. It remains to be seen what exciting new features the game mode will offer players.
