On June 5th, actress Chun Woo-hee made a guest appearance on episode 247 of tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block”.
While on air, Jo Se-ho disclosed that he and Chun Woo-hee had crossed paths at the wedding of Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin.
Looking back on their encounter, Jo Se-ho recounted, “I had the honor of hosting Taeyang’s wedding, and Chun Woo-hee attended as a guest since she had just finished filming a movie with Min Hyo-rin. We bumped into each other at the reception after the ceremony and the music started playing. I couldn’t contain my excitement and greeted her with enthusiasm, saying ‘Hello Woo-hee’, ‘I’m a huge fan of yours’, and ‘Let’s grab a meal together sometime’. However, her demeanor suddenly shifted and she calmly replied with a simple ‘Hello’.”
Chun Woo-hee was questioned about her sudden change in demeanor, to which she responded, “As an introvert, I usually try to match the energy of a group when in a social setting. On this particular day, it was a special occasion and everyone was excited to have fun at the reception. I joined in, but when it turned out to be just the two of us, I naturally became more calm in our one-on-one conversation.”
Jo Se-ho mentioned that they had initially planned on inviting someone they knew, but since that person wasn’t able to join, it felt a bit awkward to cancel the plans. As a result, they ended up having a meal together and greeted each other politely. It was noted that Woo-hee does not consume alcohol, while Jo Se-ho had three glasses of draft beer and began to feel a little tipsy. Hence, Jo Se-ho decided to bid farewell to Woo-hee and head home.
Upon hearing the story, Yoo Jae-suk expressed his disappointment, stating, “It’s a shame that it wasn’t captured on camera.”
