Mike Tyson encouraged to “forget” Jake Paul ‘script’ ahead of superfight

Mike Tyson has received advice to disregard any potential script for his upcoming superfight with Jake Paul, as the highly anticipated bout draws nearer.

Ever since Jake Paul’s entrance into the world of boxing, there have been numerous allegations that his fights were pre-determined and adhered to a specific set of rules, resembling scenes from the Rocky films.

Despite facing criticism multiple times, the former YouTuber-turned-boxer has always defended himself and received support from both pundits and even his adversaries. However, as he gears up for his upcoming match against Mike Tyson, who is 31 years his senior, and with the fight being aired on Netflix, these speculations have resurfaced.

Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, is a strong proponent of the scripted theory. He has personally organized major fights to be held in Saudi Arabia, including a previous meeting with Tyson.

“In a tweet after their press conference for the upcoming fight, Alalshikh urged brother Mike to disregard the script and defeat their opponent.”

The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority has previously expressed his disapproval of Jake’s fights. He has firmly rejected the idea of influencer matches being held on Saudi cards, stating to DAZN, “We do not want any more YouTuber fights.”

Regarding the upcoming Jake and ‘Iron’ Mike fight, it will be conducted under professional rules without the use of head guards or safer gloves, as had been previously claimed.

Despite that, Tyson is making changes to his lifestyle in preparation for the fight. He has quit smoking marihuana and has adopted a diet consisting of raw meat. Although he admits he is not yet in peak physical condition, he has until their meeting in July in Arlington, Texas to continue his preparations.
