On July 9, Min Hee-jin, the CEO of ADOR and producer of the girl group NewJeans, was summoned for questioning at the police station regarding allegations of misconduct. Her attire, once again, has sparked discussions among the public.
At approximately 1:30 PM (KST), Min Hee-jin arrived at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul dressed in a white short-sleeve shirt and a black ball cap.
The shirt she is wearing is a collaboration between NewJeans and Japanese street fashion icon Hiroshi Fujiwara, which was released in May of last year.
The NewJeans members’ names were inscribed on the back of the shirt. As of 2 PM (KST) today, the shirt was being sold for around 90,000 won (approximately 65 USD) on a resale platform. However, at 7 PM, after Min Hee-jin’s appearance, the price increased to 110,000 won (approximately 80 USD).
In April, Min Hee-jin held her first press conference amidst internal conflicts with HYBE. Her outfit quickly became an online sensation and sold out. It soon became known as the “Min Hee-jin Core Look.”
At the same time, Min confidently faced the press and addressed the allegations of breach of duty, stating, “I am confident that the truth will come to light.”She firmly refuted the accusations and maintained a relaxed smile throughout.
