Despite unfounded rumors circulating on Chinese social media, loyal fans of NCT have once again come to the defense of member Jungwoo.
Earlier this week, Johnny and Haechan were accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with fans and using drugs. However, a recent claim from an anonymous user in China alleges that Jungwoo had visited a club and spent time with girls in May.
Despite the claims, NCTzens (NCT’s fandom) were quick to debunk them. They swiftly pointed out that the photos used as evidence were actually taken after a DJ PEE. WEE (Anderson. Paak) show at a live venue in Seoul, and not at a club as alleged.
Fans have clarified that Jungwoo was not the only person in the pictures. They have identified the woman as fellow artist Moon Sujin, and have also mentioned the presence of another male friend.
The incident caused a wave of anger among Korean netizens, who remarked on the absurdity of the allegations. Numerous individuals raised concerns about the increasing issue of “sasaeng”fans, who engage in stalking and harassment as a form of obsession.
