Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 confirms July 2024 premiere and more

On Friday, June 7, 2024, the official release date for the second season of the anime series Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World was confirmed for July 2024. Along with this announcement, new information about the series was also revealed, such as a new key visual showcasing the majority of the main cast. Additionally, three new cast members and characters were announced for the upcoming season.

The announcement of the release date for season 2 of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is particularly thrilling, given the anime’s postponement from its initial 2023 release. Though the reason for the delay is unknown at the time of writing, it appears that Studio Palette and SILVER LINK have effectively recovered from whatever obstacle they faced.

The second season of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World continues the television anime adaptation of the light novel series by author Kei Sazane and illustrator Ao Nekonabe. The series first debuted in May 2017 and is still being serialized, with a manga adaptation that started in May 2018 and ended in March 2021.

Confirmation of Release Date for Season 2 of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World: July 11, 2024

As previously mentioned, the official release date for season 2 of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is Thursday, July 11, 2024. The show will first air on Tokyo MX and BS11 at 1:30 AM Japanese Standard Time (JST), before being broadcast on ABC TV and AT-X later in the day. It will also be available for streaming on the d-Anime store.

Recently revealed additions to the cast for the upcoming second season are Sho Hayami portraying Magnacasa Gunfight, Tomokazu Sugita playing Sir Karosos Newton, and Kazuyuki Okitsu voicing Garganly. Also joining the previously announced newcomers for season 2 are Junya Enoki as Johain and Miyu Tomita as May.

Yuki Inaba, director of the new season at Studio Palette and SILVER LINK, is also responsible for the series composition at the former studio. Bit Grooove Promotion’s Kaori Yoshikawa serves as the sound director for the series, with music by Element Gardens and production by Pony Canyon.

It has been confirmed that AliA will be performing the opening theme song for the anime titled “Senaka Awase,”which translates to “Back to Back.”On the other hand, Sizuk will be responsible for the ending theme song, “Para Bellum,”which translates to “Prepare for War.”Crunchyroll has also announced that they will be streaming the new season, following their previous confirmation. The first season originally aired in October 2020 and was streamed by Funimation weekly in Japan. Additionally, Funimation produced an English dub for the series.
