Strategies for Efficiently Accumulating Data Points in StarRupture

Among the various methods for collecting Data Points, using the Orbital Cargo Launcher stands out as the most efficient. By targeting specific materials required by different corporations, players can launch cargo that directly contributes to their Data Point progression. Each corporation typically requests one or two materials, facilitating a steady stream of Data Points that allow for continuous technological advancements.

The image above illustrates two different materials, each differing in value. Launching these materials grants corresponding amounts of Data Points toward the respective corporation’s progress. The key question arises: which material should you prioritize?

Materials with higher Data Point yields often require more intricate production processes, including operations involving the Smelter, Furnace, and Fabricators. Although the complexity may increase production time, a well-optimized production line can yield substantial Data Points quickly. However, there are circumstances where opting for simpler materials can be beneficial, especially if they can be mass-produced efficiently.
