Plot summary

The anime series “Shy”takes place in a world where superheroes emerged during a global crisis, preventing a Third World War from erupting. The series centers on Teru Momijiyama, a 14-year-old girl from Japan who goes by the superhero moniker “Shy”due to her timid nature.

This only adds to her distress when she fails to save Iko Koishikawa from a broken roller coaster, resulting in Iko’s severe injuries. Thankfully, her close friend Russian Hero Spirit is able to lift her spirits and motivate her to continue being a hero.
