On July 18, Stray Kids’ agency, JYP Entertainment, announced that all eight members have renewed their exclusive contracts ahead of the group’s contract expiration in 2025. This statement was released through an article on Naver’s entertainment website.
JYP Entertainment also stated that Stray Kids’ choice to renew their contracts was a result of the strong trust and commitment shared between the group and the agency. The octet’s determination to stay together as a team was a key factor in their decision. See the full statement from the agency below:
“With the expiration of the exclusive contract early next year, all Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N have renewed their exclusive contracts.
Stray Kids, an artist who has demonstrated the power of music and performance in the global music market, and JYP Entertainment, which has led and planned the group’s trajectory in growth, have agreed to a renewal based on their strong faith in each other and their dreams.”
On Twitter, STAYs expressed their joy without restraint on the social media platform. A few even publicly professed their unwavering love and support for Stray Kids, while others took the opportunity to thank the members for renewing their contracts together.
