Stray Kids Wins at Asia’s Largest Short Film Festival with Self-Produced Content

JYP Entertainment announced on June 7 that their artist Stray Kids had been awarded the “Global Spotlight Award”at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024 for their self-produced content “SKZFLIX”.

The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia kicked off on June 4 in Shibuya, Japan and is an internationally recognized short film festival, endorsed by the Academy Awards. With over 4,936 submissions from 114 regions, this year’s edition is the largest of its kind in Asia.

“The music drama, “SKZFLIX,”features the song “Leave”from Stray Kids’ 2023 mini album “ROCK-STAR”as its soundtrack. In the show, the Stray Kids members take on the roles of film club members who face challenges and setbacks as they work on a movie project.”

Stray Kids expressed their appreciation for their recent accomplishment, stating that it was a meaningful experience to receive an award following their enjoyable filming of ‘SKZFLIX’ and the memorable moments they shared with each other. They also expressed their desire to spread the story of ‘SKZFLIX’ to a wider audience.
