The most recent update has officially confirmed that the Suicide Squad Isekai anime is set to debut on Japanese television on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 12:30AM Japanese Standard Time (JST). The show will first be broadcasted on Tokyo MX and BS11 before becoming accessible on various Japanese streaming platforms such as ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai.

The recently released promotional video for the anime series does not reveal any significant new information, as it mostly consists of scenes from previous trailers. However, there are a few additional shots that feature characters outside of the main group of fighters, including Amanda Waller and her allies, as well as some of the characters in the fantasy world.

The cast for the series includes Anna Nagase as Harley Quinn, Yuichiro Umehara as The Joker, Reigo Yamaguchi as Deadshot, Takehito Koyasu as Peacemaker, Jun Fukuyama as Clayface, Subaru Kimura as King Shark, Taku Yashiro as Rick Flag, Kujira as Amanda Waller, Chika Anzai as Katana, Reina Ueda as Fione, Mamiko Noto as Aldora, and Jun Fukushima as Cecil. Eri Osada is at the helm of the anime series at Wit Studios, while Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara are responsible for the scripts. Renowned manga artist Akira Amano, known for her work on the Reborn! series, is creating the original character designs, while Naoto Hosoda is designing the characters for animation. The music is being composed by Kenichiro Suehiro, and Shinya Tsuruoku serves as the animation producer for Warner Bros. Japan.
