Yellowstone’s newest spin-off show has put Lost actor Matthew Fox back in the spotlight.
Matthew Fox, most recognized for his portrayal of Jack Shepard on the polarizing mystery show Lost, has been confirmed to be joining the upcoming spin-off of Yellowstone, titled The Madison. According to a report from Deadline, Fox will be taking on the role of Paul, a rugged outdoorsman and single man.
After gaining recognition on the dramedy series Party of Five, the actor went on to star in 113 episodes of Lost before announcing his departure from television. Subsequently, he made a few appearances in films such as World War Z and Bone Tomahawk.

Despite the success of Lost, the actor faced accusations of violent behavior and abuse towards women, leading him to step away from the public eye for a number of years. These allegations included incidents such as assaulting a female bus driver and claims from former co-stars.
Even though he announced he was finished with the industry, Fox made a comeback in 2022, taking on roles in the Peacock mini-series Last Light and the Australian comedy series Caught. At a press conference for Last Light in 2024, Fox clarified that he had taken a break to focus on his family.
Despite limited information, we do know that The Madison will explore the themes of “grief and human connection.”The plot centers on a family from New York City who moves to Montana. A release date for the series has not been announced at this time.
Despite being in its early stages, The Madison already boasts a talented cast. Michelle Pfeiffer takes the lead as an unnamed character with two daughters, Paige and Abigail, played by Elle Chapman and Beau Garret.
In addition, Patrick J. Adams, known for his role in Suits, has been added to the cast as Paige’s husband, while Amiah Miller, who starred in War for the Planet of the Apes, will play the role of Abigail’s daughter.
The upcoming installment of Yellowstone, Season 5 Part 2, is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2024. In the meantime, you can learn more about the Yellowstone timeline.
