The tenth episode of season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, titled “God and the Demon Lord,”aired on Nippon Television in Japan on Friday, June 7, 2024. The episode showcased the incredible strength of Rimuru Tempest and Diablo as they thwarted the plans of the Seven Days Clergy with their remarkable powers.

The latest episode also marked the end of Tempest’s ongoing conflict with Lubelius, which was fueled by a false narrative spread by the Seven Days Clergies. Coincidentally, episode 10 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 adapted chapters 96 to 98 from the manga.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 10 Highlights: Rimuru Thwarts Seven Days Clergy’s Plans

Starting off where the last episode left off, season 3 episode 10 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime sees Rimuru Tempest informing the Seven Days Clergies that there is no need for their interference as he has already resolved matters with Hinata.

Despite the Paladins’ pleas for mercy towards Hinata, the clergies remain determined to punish her for disobeying the will of their lord, Luminous. However, before they can make a decision, Renard interrupts and lambastes the clergies, accusing them of deceiving him in order to bring about Hinata’s downfall.

In that instant, Garde thrusts his sword into Renard’s waist. The latest episode of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, season 3 episode 10, then exposes Garde as one of the Seven Days Clergies in disguise. He reveals his true identity and joins the other two clergies in attendance.

Afterwards, Diablo contacts Rimuru Tempest through telepathy and updates him on the circumstances in Falmuth. The demon butler reveals that the Seven Days Clergies were responsible for Reyhiem’s death. Rimuru realizes that the clergies have been manipulating events from the shadows.

As Diablo is questioned by the slime about providing evidence, the demon butler responds by mentioning the presence of journalists from various countries as witnesses. Diablo becomes concerned about the potential danger of leaving the clergies alive, prompting Rimuru to give his butler permission to eliminate them.

In episode 10 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, Rimuru scolds the Seven Days Clergies for their actions of killing the Archbishop and falsely accusing his butler. As a result, the clergies are exposed and believe that they must eliminate everyone, including Rimuru.

Despite Benimaru and Shion’s powerful charge, the clergies cast a magic barrier that proves difficult to break. Shion comes close to breaking it, but they retaliate with Trinity Break. Sensing the danger, Rimuru utilizes his ultimate skill, Beelzebub, to nullify the effects of Trinity Break.

Certainly, the clergies are angered by Rimuru’s accomplishments. In response, they unleash their most powerful attack, the Trinity: Disintegration, against him. However, with the assistance of Raphael, the slime and Hinata are left unharmed as Rimuru heeds the suggestion to utilize the ultimate skill, Uriel’s Absolute Defense.

The clergies decide to temporarily retreat, but just as they are about to make their escape, Luminous Valentine unexpectedly shows up with Lubelius’ emperor, Louis, in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 10, preventing the clergies from fleeing.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Diablo single-handedly exterminates the Clergies in Falmuth

The setting of Falmuth is introduced in episode 10 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’s third season, where Diablo must confront three powerful members of the Seven Days Clergy. In a heroic act, he rescues a group of journalists from the clergy’s brutal assault.

Despite promising to protect the reporters if they spread the truth about the killing of the Archbishop, Diablo refuses to intervene and save King Edward due to his disrespectful act of mocking Rimuru Tempest.

The king pleads for leniency, vowing to relinquish his throne. Knowing this, Diablo arranges for Youm, the champion, to take over as Edward’s successor on the throne. With everything settled, the demon butler believes there is no longer a reason for the Clergies to continue living.

Enraged by Diablo’s words, the Clergies unleash their powerful attack, Trinity Break. Unfortunately, the Demon Peer remains unscathed and retaliates with his own move, Despair Time, trapping the clergies in a timeless void. As the void collapses, it drags the clergies down with it.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Luminous kills the Clergies while Hinata’s past is revealed

Following Diablo’s swift triumph, the focus in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 10 returns to Tempest. In the presence of Luminous, the Paladins lower their heads in respect. The Goddess scolds Hinata for her excessive actions and employs Resurrection to mend her injuries.

In the next episode of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, season 3 episode 10 explores a flashback that reveals Hinata Sakaguchi’s tragic past. It is shown that she arrived in this world while en route to her high school entrance ceremony.

The flashback continues to reveal the difficult upbringing of Hinata. Her father had a destructive addiction to gambling, causing him to frequently harm Hinata’s mother. In a desperate act to protect her mother, Hinata pushed her father off a cliff, resulting in his death. Tragically, this only worsened the situation as it left her mother emotionally broken.

After reflecting on her past, Hinata came to the realization that she needed to take control and grab hold of things, rather than allowing them to be taken from her. In That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 10, Hinata Sakaguchi wakes up and regains consciousness.

Meanwhile, Luminous Valentine confronts the Clergies and sentences them to death for their unforgivable actions. She employs Death Blessing, a powerful ability that causes angelic hands to descend from above and strip their bodies of their souls.

Afterwards, the episode turns its attention to Lubelius, where Nicolas takes care of one of the last members of the Clergy who had harmed his Goddess, Hinata. Surprisingly, the soul of the Clergy member returns to Granville, who curses Nicolas and expresses regret for his unsuccessful attempt.

Mariabel, the granddaughter of the Rozzo family, believes that Tempest has become too perilous for their plans to prosper. She is convinced that Rimuru Tempest is determined to dominate the world through economic power. As a result, she pledges on her name, Mariabel the Greedy, that her family will defeat him.

Following that, in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 10, the story returns to Tempest. Rimuru extends an invitation to Hinata, Luminous, and the others to visit his castle. While there, they have a humorous exchange with Veldora, who is disappointed to not have been needed in a recent battle. During their banter, Veldora recognizes Luminous.
