The beginning of May has brought a new beginning for K-pop acts this year. To gauge the growing fan base of different K-pop artists, the Korean Business Research Institute has recently published its latest brand reputation rankings for K-pop boy groups.
Based on information from sources, the data was gathered from April 11 to May 11 by the organization. The results were subsequently determined by examining factors related to popularity, including consumer participation, media coverage, and the artists’ level of engagement with their fans.

SEVENTEEN secured the top spot for May with a brand reputation index of 5,046,444. The boy group’s activities, promotions, and social media updates are also garnering attention and increasing their popularity.

TWS came in second place with a brand reputation index of 4,178,053.
3. NCT
NCT was ranked third with a brand reputation index of 2,792,964.
4. EXO
With a brand reputation index of 2,609,545, EXO secured the 4th spot.
Group: BTS
In the month of May, BTS achieved a brand reputation index of 2,427,988, securing a spot in the top five.
The Boyz
With a brand reputation index of 2,168,339, THE BOYZ secured the sixth spot.
Super Junior
With a brand reputation index of 2,067,370, Super Junior claimed the No. 7 spot.
SHINee
SHINee secured the eighth spot, achieving a brand reputation index of 1,942,029.
9. K-Pop Group: Stray Kids
Despite making their debut at the Met Gala, Stray Kids were still able to claim the 9th spot in this May’s brand reputation index with a score of 1,684,185. Additionally, the eight-member group generated significant interest on online communities and social media.
