Mutt can be found to the northwest of Semine, near the river. To locate him, follow the road from Semine until you reach a fork leading into the forest.
As you navigate through the woods, pass the deer hunting spot and descend into a ravine.

As you approach the cave, a cutscene triggers, showcasing Mutt defending you against a pack of wolves. If you possess strong combat skills, you can assist Mutt in taking down the wolves; simply time your parries effectively. However, if the odds feel overwhelming, it’s entirely reasonable to retreat.
Escaping from the wolves might prove challenging due to their aggressive behavior; they can effectively stun-lock you while you flee. To maximize your chance of survival, head east toward the river, where the scenery may obscure your escape.
During our playthrough, only a couple of wolves pursued us as we reached the riverbanks. This provided a more balanced fight where we dispatched one wolf while Mutt engaged the other. Once we had defeated our adversary, we joined Mutt in eliminating the last wolf, allowing us to safely reunite with our furry friend.
