Figure in Gold is an optional objective in Dredge that can be acquired by conversing with the masked figure on K2’s island. Red Snapper Location
Red Snapper is a coastal species that can be captured with a rod or net during the day. There is a Red Snapper fishing site in K2, just northwest of the hooded figure, so Dredge players don’t even need to travel that far to catch one.
Fangtooth Location
Fangtooth is an Abyssal fish that can be captured with a rod at both day and night. To locate one, supporters should sail around Stellar Basin or head to the southwest corner of H2. Notably, players cannot catch this fish until they have completed the first portion of Dredge’s Research Assistant quest, which begins at the Old Fortress in Stellar Basin and enables Abyssal fishing.
Blue Crab Location
Blue Crabs can be captured with pots in water less than 5 meters deep in Dredge’s Stellar Basin. Even though there are numerous locations that meet this requirement, such as the area encircling the Starlight Pontoon in E2, catching crabs can be somewhat random. Players attempting to acquire a Blue Crab for Figure in Gold are advised to employ the following method, which will prevent them from exceeding the time limit:
- Use the Starlight Pontoon to save your ship.
- Install a number of crab traps in the shallow waters adjacent to the pontoon.
- Sail around the containers until their lights begin to flash, indicating that a crab has been captured.
- If the pots have failed to capture a Blue Crab, return to the main menu, load the save at the Starlight Pontoon, and attempt again.
