Jujutsu Kaisen confirms Yuji will surpass both Gojo and Nanami in one key aspect

Despite the official release of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 256 still pending, spoilers for the upcoming chapter have already been leaked online. The chapter’s events have sparked a frenzy on the Internet as Yuji Itadori takes center stage and unleashes a series of destructive attacks on Ryomen Sukuna.

Yuji’s arsenal boasts the powerful Black Flash as one of its strongest weapons. This technique has been a key factor in many of his battles, including his triumph over Mahito. Although currently Kento Nanami and Satoru Gojo hold the record for the most hits with the Black Flash in a fight, the next chapter of the manga suggests that Yuji may soon surpass this achievement.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 256: Yuji Exceeds Gojo and Nanami’s Black Flash Records, Confirmed by Gege

In chapter 256 of Jujutsu Kaisen, things took a negative turn when Sukuna successfully executed two consecutive Black Flashes. This feat by the King of Curses would have caused trouble for the Jujutsu sorcerers, who were already on the brink of defeat.

Luckily, with the assistance of Choso and Larue, Yuji was able to turn the situation around. Together, they bought enough time for Yuji to launch a series of powerful attacks against Sukuna and ultimately deliver a devastating Black Flash to the King of Curses in the final moments of the chapter.

The chapter started with a short flashback in which Satoru Gojo was shown teaching his students about the basics of Black Flash. Despite his immense strength, Gojo admitted that he could not always execute the technique on command, as it largely relied on chance.

He then contrasts himself with Kento Nanami, noting that while the latter may hold the record for the most consecutive Black Flashes, he surpasses him in terms of overall number of times performed.

Gojo goes on to clarify that due to the relatively short duration of his fights, he rarely gets the chance to successfully execute a Black Flash on his opponent.

Immediately following this flashback, Gege Akutami left a note stating that Yuji would surpass Gojo’s record for the most Black Flashes used in a single fight. Yuji had already tied Nanami’s record for the most consecutive Black Flashes during his battle against Hanami, leaving little doubt that he would once again achieve the seemingly impossible feat.

With the Jujutsu sorcerers’ fight against Sukuna reaching its climax, fans can anticipate witnessing more similar moments occur. Yuji remains the last hope for the Jujutsu society, making his actions crucial in the upcoming events.

With Maki, Choso, and Larue all in a dire state, it falls upon Miguel and Yuji to make their last stand against the King of Curses.

Despite the repeated statement that it is impossible to intentionally hit a Black Flash, Yuji’s opponents are often left questioning this as he is the only one who seems to be able to do so. With both Yuji and Sukuna currently in ‘the Zone’ after their successful Black Flash attacks, fans can anticipate an intense and exhilarating battle between the two in the upcoming chapters of the manga.
