Currently, the highly-anticipated release date of the popular J-pop duo’s new song has not been announced. Nevertheless, YOASOBI has already issued an official statement, stating:

They also included:

“The world is continuously developing through the days and since we are in an environment where it is easy to communicate with various tools, I feel that it is important to face the loneliness that we feel because of this, so I put that feeling into the song. I hope you will enjoy it along with the movie.”

In addition, YOASOBI gained worldwide recognition with their global smash hit, “IDOL,”which served as the theme song for the acclaimed anime “Oshi no Ko,”released in 2023.

Ever since then, the duo’s popularity in the music industry outside of Japan has continued to grow, leading to their invitation to perform on the Mojave stage at Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the United States.

On the same day, YOASOBI’s “Monotone”was released for sampling, along with a teaser for the anime film “Fureru,”which is based on a novel.

The trio gained recognition for their ability to produce successful animated films, such as “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day”(2013), “The Anthem of the Heart”(2015), and “Her Blue Sky”(2019), through their collaborative efforts.

As a result, there is a growing anticipation for the movie. Its plot will revolve around the lives of three childhood friends and an animal whose hearts are intertwined by the influence of a mysterious being. The purpose of this film is to impart a lesson about the genuine bonds that exist between individuals.

Haruka Shiraishi, Manaka Iwami, Sarutoki Minagawa, and Kenjiro Tsuda will also be joining them.
