The 1st performance of the 2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK PARALLEL was held by aespa in Seoul, Korea on June 29 (KST).
Despite the excitement of the night with surprise appearances and solo performances, many fans who attended this concert had a terrible experience and even accused SM Entertainment of “scamming”them.
Specifically, individuals who spent a significant amount of money to secure front-row tickets were disappointed to find that their view was obstructed by purported SM staff members. These staff members were reportedly using step stools, ladders, and professional cameras, presumably to record the concert for potential future releases.
To this point, numerous photos have surfaced on social media, taken by fans who have captured their obstructed views, accompanied by critical remarks directly addressing SM.
Comments from frustrated netizens have also been shared on Korean forums, such as “theqoo”, regarding the fans’ negative experience.
- This should qualify for a refund. They pay all that money for a front row seat only to have to deal with shitty view
- Is there something seriously wrong with SM’s critical thinking? Did the company get hit in the head?
- If filming is necessary, a designated section should be provided for it. It is unfair to obstruct the view of audience members who have paid 200,000 won for their seats.
- Using chairs is actually a mistake. The stage doesn’t appear to be very high, so there was really no need for them to be included.
- What the heck is that view? This is a case of scamming for real
- Huh, the staff??? This is the first time I’ve seen the staff obstructing the view like that at a concert
- If the staff’s behavior in front of the fans is going to be like that, why not just have an online con? What purpose does it serve to have the fans sitting behind them?
